Post need some help /advise for my 95 mustang gt
hi guys i recently did some mods;trickflow street heat upper and lower intake,65 mm fms throttle body. bbk shortiesw/bbk xpipe, performance distributors 5.0 kit "cap rotor. live wires, ignition module, coil" heres the problem; when i first start the car it runs fine for about 3-4 minutes and then it starts to misfire horribly and run lean once the ecm comes out of wake up mode. i have NO vacumn leaks and have adj my tps to .097 v ,ive cleaned the maf sensor with a non clorinated brake cleaner, timing is at 10 degrees btdc"verified this with the #1 piston at tdc measured with a dial indicator, drained the fuel, pump is a 255 and is 1 year old and was working fine, replaced all the vacumn lines ,i have 42 lbs fuel pressure vac off, i switched back to the old ignition system "coil wires module cap and rotor, ive switched the tps sensor and iac sensor 2 times and the o2 sensors 3 times. WTF i need help!!! car wont rev over 4000 rpm yes the spout is in !! im ready to rip this f----- pc sh-- off and carb this baby and do away with this bull ----Ps car runs n2o without issues before and it ran a 12.63 et on a stock motor w/ 125 shot of n2o. did these mods to wake it up on the top end . the only time the car ever ran poorly is when i got some "bad gas " and it wouldnt rev up then about a year and a half ago.remember that the car runs perfect for the first 3 minutes when cold and then like sh-- any suggestions will be greatly apprieciated as ive been told it could be anything from the pcm to the constant control relay module etc etc etc

Big lar

Reads as if the problem starts once the system goes into close loop, you might want to run a set of DIY KOEO and KOER self-teststo check what the system is logging as failures first, the KOER test is very important.....post back the results and we'll guide you through.....oh!....and Welcome to :my5oh: .

Ah..gee...thanks for the compliment..Image....I like to say that I'm more of a permanent student instead...

Yep...behind the passenger side strut tower...on another note, if you have access to a scanner, with "datastream" capabilities, you could check parameters from the system real-time....a characteristic of '94-'95 EEC-IV systems.....if not, we'll go the codes and VOM checking route.....LUK
