 subframe
I have a set of full length subframe conectors w/seat braces that I need to install, and was wondering what is the best way to go about it, other than takeing it to a shop cuz I dont have the extra cash. I have all the tools to do it (welder, grinder, ect) so thats not an issue.

 Re: subframe
if you don't have a drive on lift, you'll need to get the car up on something so that the weight will be distributed on all four tires the same way it would be on flat ground. the subframe connectors i used were bolt in, so i bolted them in first and then welded them in. they will probably require some finessing to get them to line up correctly, but try not to weld them in pre-stressed. a jack will help hold them into position while you initially tack weld them. edit: probably obvious but, make sure you have a full tank of gas! you don't wanna blow yourself up

 Re: subframe
I need to fill the tank anyway, but the only thing I have to het the car off the ground is jackstands, so getting the weight on the front tires might be a little tricky.

 Re: subframe
Im probably going to get some of thoes stands that you drive up on. Now that you mentioned it, Im sure Ive got enough bricks and such sitting around that would work.
