Post 91 f-150 firing order?
Anyone know the firing order or actually the routing of the plug wires? which dist. point is no.1? maybe a diagram?

1991 5.0L F-150 is the Non-HO firing order 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8 and there's a TSB for the correct plug wires routing as shown below.

Man those wires are pretty twisted up on the HO. Would it be a better idea to follow what Ford said to do on HO motors? My routing is much cleaner with less crossing, but who knows it might have to??? :scratch:

yeah I always route mine a lot cleaner than that, the theory behind the ford routing is to reduce the possibility induction across plug wires. If you have nice thick high quality wires it's likely to not happen until they get really old...
